The Goodwill Project: Free office space for local entreprenuers and startups!

The Goodwill Project gifted a local startup our Jasper Avenue office space in Edmonton—for free—for two years. The recipient of the space was RUNWITHIT Synthetics.

Here’s what RWI Synthetics told CTV News:

“It made a huge difference for us in how we were able to grow in the region,” said Myrna Bittner, CEO of RunWithIt Synthetics, adding her firm is grateful to CommAlert and is paying it forward by helping non-profits such as United Way.

“Being on the receiving end of such a generous gift makes you feel compelled to help others.”

Now that they’ve moved on, we’d like to give the space away to the next generation of entrepreneurs for the summer! We’d love to see how Generation Z uses the space to create, innovate and help build the tech industry’s future.

The office will also have a dedicated space for Indigenous artists to create and teach. This will be done in the Indigenous way, led by Elders from Treaty 6.

Interested entrepreneurs and startups can apply by emailing the CommAlert Group at CSR@commalert.com or call 1-800-613-7774

“I’m First Nation, so gift-giving, sharing, storytelling and supporting youth is sort of our culture,” Carwell told CTV News.
