Our Emergency Communications Center provides outstanding call volume potential, capable of reaching thousands of people within minutes. This service is now being used as the primary emergency response communications tool for multiple facilities, pipelines, oil & gas projects, critical sour wells and government agencies.
How our systems work
Once a facility has established the need to contact the residents of its Emergency Response Zone, it is simply a matter of one easy phone call to the CommAlert ECC. Customized messages are then relayed to all zone residents, emergency services, company personnel and government agencies - alerting them to the action being taken, and what action is expected from them. The flexibility of the system allows the operator to fan out with messages, making sure that everyone in the area is aware of the situation, even if they’re not directly affected. We can even customize different messages that can easily be sent to different groups simultaneously or even pre-record them so they are ready to go at a moment’s notice.
Within minutes of the calls being sent a real time report is then created detailing successful and unsuccessful contact attempts. This report breaks down the different reasons why an attempt was unsuccessful: not home, wrong code, non-confirmation of message, or the message having been left on an answering machine. Once finished, the report is sent via fax, email, and/or text message to the related facility to enable them to deal with any residents not contacted. The report gives the exact time of the message as well as time of response, also stating if the call was abandoned. In addition, the system has an audit package that will record all calls in case of a dispute.
